To tone and strengthen your writing, you need the occasional workout for your writing muscles. Enter our Writing Gym for a fun and energetic exercise-themed series of writing prompts designed to get your creative juices flowing.
Your coach is David Jacobson, a Writing Salon instructor who also has vast experience in coaching sports and fitness. “When we consciously connect the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a writing practice, the fun and feelings flow,” David says.
In the Gym, you will stretch, feel the heartbeat of your writing, and maybe even break a sweat. When the session ends, you may feel exhausted but invigorated, with your writing muscles newly toned and flexible.

- Live Zoom Meeting: Wednesday, August 24, 2:00pm-3:00pm
This was my first class and it certainly will not be my last. It was everything I wanted in a guided writing session. I need to flex my writing muscles and get back into writing shape and this was a great first step.
