The Writing Gym

To tone and strengthen your writing, you need the occasional workout for your writing muscles. Enter our Writing Gym for a fun and energetic exercise-themed series of writing prompts designed to get your creative juices flowing.

Your coach is David Jacobson, a Writing Salon instructor who also has vast experience in coaching sports and fitness. “When we consciously connect the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of a writing practice, the fun and feelings flow,” David says.

In the Gym, you will stretch, feel the heartbeat of your writing, and maybe even break a sweat. When the session ends, you may feel exhausted but invigorated, with your writing muscles newly toned and flexible.

About The Writing Salon's Remote Classes

You will be able to participate in live class meetings via Zoom videoconference. To attend classes, you'll need a phone, tablet or computer and access to the internet. You can participate in the class from wherever you'd like, whether on your living room couch or in your office. Before your class meets, you'll receive an email from The Writing Salon with more information about Zoom and your remote class.
