Participating in Lit Crawl for a second year in a row, The Writing Salon will host a one-of-a-kind event at Martuni's designed to connect readers and the audience. In the spirit of The Writing Salon’s popular Daily Write Round Robin class, which encourages playful writing, open sharing, and community-building, the event will feature short readings based on prompts given on the spot. Featured readers will be Writing Salon instructors Elaine Beale, Kevin Dublin, Andy Touhy, and Rob Williams. A fun interactive writing activity will get both readers and audience members freewriting on “Round Robin” postcards, which The Writing Salon will then mail off to recipients. Writing Salon Interactive is part literary reading and part immersive writing activity, an opportunity for us all to celebrate community bonds forged through the written word.
