Hi Jane,

I wanted to thank you for the party which was a lot of fun and had some exceptional essays. Cedric and I particularly loved the piece read by David Booth and if our baby was not due in two weeks, you would have had me as David’s student because he looks like a great guy. Perhaps if he teaches next semester I’ll be able to make it. I really enjoyed his poetic writing style and soft-spoken voice, and how his reading almost made him look like the little hero of the chapter. It was certainly a long chapter but it seemed short to me. It was great.
